Mekong Delta, the so-called rice basket of Vietnam and the world, is located in the Southwest of Vietnam. After a short 2-hour ride South Southwest from Saigon, we will embark on the Mekong King luxury wooden boat for a fine journey across the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy taking photos of different activities such as weaving palm leaves, transporting rice, dredging sand and loading them on barges. Further our visit to sightsee the Tan Phong island by buggy where you can intake numerous fruit orchards. Back to our boat and continue the cruise to visit a local cottage industry specialized in making rice cracker, candies out of pop rice, pop corn and coconut. A delicious lunch will await us inside a fruit orchard of a former Mandarin’s ancient house with different Mekong’s specialties. After lunch, return to our luxury boat for more cruise to visit a rice husking mill, a brick kiln, and a family sewing thatched roofs. Bid farewell to the crew at Ba Ton bridge around 15:00 hrs.
